The second GPS Week Number Rollover (do a web search for more info) has just happened. Your GPS device might think it is in 1980, or in 1999. The first symptom would be the long time to acquire a GPS fix. Then a wrong date is shown.

My two recent Samsung Android smartphones (2016 and 2018) as well as the TomTom navigator embedded in the car (2017) are working properly. I will try with an older Samsung Galaxy S and an even older Samsung SGH-i780 (but I need software for it). The problem with these old devices is locating old software that works on them since most websites have disappeared (ref. PocketPC, early Windows Mobile).
