I have hopefully finished the 5 elements VHF yagi (DK7ZB design) installing the BNC plug on the plastic box. Not rocket science, but stable enough for some VHF portable fun.
The coil made with the lambda/4 impedance adapter should have a theoretical impedance of 50-100 nanoH, which is not as high as an RF-choke (1:1 current balun) should be. As a tech note, increasing the coil diameter increases inductance, thus impedance. Experimentation is left to the reader.
