QYT KT8900 current consumption

Is it me, or the QYT KT8900 manual does not specify the current consumption? I measured it. The unit I got my hands on, performs as follows:

RX: 0.27 A (backlight on, stand-by)

VHF TX LOW: 2.7 A
VHF TX HIGH: 3 A
UHF TX LOW: 2.5 A
UHF TX HIGH: 3.3 A

Readings taken at 12.5 V out from the PSU.

I have no idea what the RF power output is. But I noticed that it will not transmit below 10 Vdc, while the current drain is constant between 10 and 13 Vdc supply.

It sounds, more or less, the same to me.
My unit also draws about 20mA when switched off: did you test it?

That's correct Ale PLD, my unit draws 22 mA too. That's a bit too much for an active button in my opinion. Anyway my cars manuals state that you should not drain more than 20 mA when the vehicle is stopped, so KT8900 lies within that limit ... if you do not have anything else stand-by in the car.

Mine is connected to the cigar lighter line, that gets disconnected when I remove the key from the dashboard.
